为增进中国人民与世界各国人民的相互了解和友谊，发展中国与世界各国在政治、经济、文化、教育、经贸等领域的交流与合作，中国政府设立奖学金，资助世界各国优秀学生、教师、学者到中国的大学学习或开展研究。中国教育部委托中国国家留学基金管理委员会（以下简称“国家留学基金委”）负责中国政府奖学金生的招生录取和在华事务管理工作。目前有279所中国大学承担中国政府奖学金生的培养任务。学生可在理学、工学、农学、医学、法学、经济学、管理学、教育学、文学、历史学、哲学、艺术学等十二个学科门类选择专业学习。

中国驻旧金山总领事馆教育组负责受理领区中国政府奖学金国别双边项目的申报工作。

2017/2018 Chinese Government Scholarship Application

In order to promote the mutual understanding,cooperation and exchanges in politics,economy,culture,education and trade between China and other countries,the Chinese governmenthas set up a series of scholarship programs to sponsor international students,teachers and scholars to study and conduct research in Chinese universities.China Scholarship Council(hereinafter referred to as CSC),entrusted by the Ministry of Education of People’s Republic of China(hereinafter referred to asMOE),is responsible for the enrollment and administration of Chinese Government Scholarship programs.279 designated Chinese universities offer a wide variety of academic programs in Science,Engineering,Agriculture,Medicine,Law,Economics,Management,Education,Liberal Arts,Philosophy,History,and Fine Arts for scholarship winners at all levels.

The Education Office of the Consulate General of the People&＃39;s Republic of China in San Francisco is authorized to receive applications to the Bilateral Program.
